*** FEEDS *** Many of you have asked "What do you feed your animals?" We're happy to share that information with you. Meat Chicken & Layers: On pasture, they eat grass, seeds and insects supplemented by locally produced feed ground from specific mixture (depending on the age of the bird) of shelled corn, roasted soybeans (extruded), oats, alfalfa meal, fish meal, aragonite (calcium) and Fertrell's Nutri-Balancer (original organic formula) Turkey: On pasture, they eat grass, seeds and insects supplemented by all-natural feed ground from specific mixture (depending on the age of the bird) of shelled corn, roasted soybeans (extruded), oats, alfalfa meal, fish meal, aragonite (calcium) and Fertrell's Nutri-Balancer (original organic formula) Lamb: pasture in warm months, hay from the same pasture in winter months Goat: pasture in warm months, hay from the same pasture in winter months Rabbit: pellet ration, some grass Pork: ground corn (80%) locally purchased mixed with Hubbard Feed Inc farm mixer (20%) whose label lists the following: crude protein, lysine, crude fat, crude fiber, calcium, phosphorus, salt, selenium, zinc) Duck: On pasture, they eat grass, seeds and insects supplemented by all-natural feed ground from specific mixture (depending on the age of the bird) of shelled corn, roasted soybeans (extruded), oats, alfalfa meal, fish meal, aragonite (calcium) and Fertrell's Nutri-Balancer (original organic formula) |
